The Building Plans Steering Committee is off on another adventure. We are embarking on our own UCLA STORY CORPS. In the process of moving forward, we want to look back and remember our past. The plan is to document our history in several ways. Our hope is that such a process will help us focus on what has been important to us through the years and what we want to emphasize as we move forward.
Some ideas already discussed include recording stories as told by members, searching for photographs and memorabilia of past events, and identifying and preserving artifacts and treasures. We plan to engage middle school and high school youth to record stories and memories of members and friends.
We are seeking stories, photos, artifacts, and memorabilia and want to compile a list of contributors. Please call or e-mail Lew or Marge Agnew to add your name to the list.
I am asking for help from people of various ages and skill sets to plan and implement this project. If you are willing to help set this effort in motion, please send me an email or call. The initial phase will take 2 to 4 months, so you will not be committing to along term effort.
