Peter Morales, president of the Unitarian Universalist Association, issued a statement applauding the legalization of same-sex marriage in Minnesota. It begins, “Last November, Minnesotans defeated an anti-marriage ballot amendment. And yesterday, the governor of Minnesota signed the marriage equality bill that made Minnesota the 12th state to ensure equal rights for its citizens.
