Welcome to the Unitarian Church of Los Alamos, New Mexico
Membership in Unitarian Universalist congregations is not based upon shared beliefs, but on shared principles and common purpose. Our religion is grounded in the practice of freedom, reason, and tolerance.
If you visit our church, we want you to feel welcome with us. After each service, please join us for refreshment and conversation. Our greeters have visitors' packets available, which include the most current edition of the Voice, our monthly newsletter. If you would like to learn more about our liberal religious faith, please feel free to contact our minister, Rev. John Cullinan, or speak with him or any of the available greeters after one of our services.
On most Sundays, children stay with their parents for the first fifteen to thiry minutes of the service and are then released to Sunday school. Once per month, we hold an intergenerational service, where all ages remain in the sanctuary. Children are always welcome to remain with their parents in the sanctuary for every service. If you are interested in our religious education program for children, please contact our Director of Religious Education/Exploration, Benette Sherman.
We welcome people of all races, ages, beliefs, and sexual/gender orientations. We are recognized as a Welcoming Congregation by the Unitarian Universalist Association, embracing our pride in and solidarity with our gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender members and friends.
We are glad to have you here!
